Our Youth is Geared for the Future!

Our aim is to enrich the youth with scarce and critical skills.

CREATING OPPORTUNITIES
A learnership is a work-based learning programme that leads to an NQF registered qualification. Learnerships are directly related to an occupation or field of work, for example, electrical engineering, hairdressing or project management.  Learnerships are a way to provide people with work experience as well as recognised qualifications. So while you are working, you are gaining skills and experience, which are tested and registered as a qualification.
A LEARNERSHIP TESTIMONIAL

Gramania wanted to broaden her knowledge, so she applied for the learnership position with SA Campus. “The Learnership opened doors for me in an industry where I never pictured myself, but it made me realise how much I enjoy it,” Gramania Roules.

After completing the theoretical component of her qualification in Generic Management online by using www.sacampusonline.com she completed the practical element of her studies at We Rent Cars, where she is now permanently employed. “The skills I have gained is team management, customer management and Business Ethics. What is the Do’s and Don’ts of a business, and how to run a business effectively.” Roules says that the qualification taught her how to treat the customers she interacts with daily and how to manage her time efficiently.

When asked about her future plans, Roules said that she is excited to grow in her current role at We Rent Cars. We at SA Campus look forward to watching you grow, Gramania!

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT LEVY:
The Skills Development Levy (SDL) is a levy imposed to encourage learning and development in South Africa. The funds are to be used to develop and improve the skills of employees. These levies are part of salaries and are meant to be spent on the training and development of the employees’ skills. Companies can apply for mandatory and discretionary grants to fund their training programme while earning valuable B-BBEE Spend Points. SETA Accredited companies like SA Campus facilitate such programmes at little to no cost to your company.
