Business Environment and Strategy

The purpose of this course is to introduce you to the first of a series of core management skills i.e. to develop a strategy and objectives for a business unit and to cascade it into performance standards.  You will also learn how to conduct an effective performance review and address under-performance.

The qualifying learner will be capable of:

• Specifying objectives,
• Formulating a plan,
• Co-ordinating people and other resources,
• Implementing the plan to meet objectives.
• Evaluating results, making corrections and improvement.
