The Business Analysis Requirements Life Cycle (Skills Programme 5)
- Description
- Curriculum
- Reviews
Persons credited with this course are able to assess Information Technology (IT) solutions to ensure that strategic business goals are met and agreed requirements are satisfied. Anyone accredited with this course should also be able to determine conformance of solutions design options with requirements, allocate requirements to specific releases and/or solutions components, determine organisational readiness to effectively operate the new solution, validate that the deployed solution meets the business objectives, and assess the value of the solution as deployed to the business.
In this course, one will be learning about the System constraints affecting implementation options as well as the examples of their effect. One will also learn about the reasons for selecting a computer system in order to reflect support for implementation options.
In this course, one will be learning about different problem solving techniques, as well as developing these techniques in real life. One will also be learning about truth tables and how the usage combines different operators to form Boolean expressions by setting up truth tables. This unit will also cover the rules of Boolean algebra and how one can use a Karnaugh Map to represent Boolean expressions. Lastly, one will learn about the common causes of errors as well as error isolation techniques.
This course will also cover different computer system types as well as the applicability of different Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models. Lastly, one will learn about the implementation solutions for a specific context, underlining the factors affecting the implementation as well as their suitability for a given scenario.
